Smart India Hackathon – 2023
On the holy occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, LNCT Group has yet again proven to be victorious as team “TECH-SAVVIES” , got the First Position & cash prize of ₹ 50,000 in “Grand Finale – 2023” of Smart India Hackathon (Software Edition) conducted at the nodal center GIET University Gunupur (Odisha) on 19th & 20th December 2023.
Kavach Hackathon – 2023
On the auspicious occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and the commencement of the Academic Session 2023-2024, LNCT Group has once again demonstrated its triumph as one of our teams from LNCT-University, named “Defense Coder,” secured the First Position along with a cash prize of ₹1,00,000. The team achieved this remarkable feat under the guidance of Dr. Prashant Chaturvedi and Prof. Priyanka Singh in the “Kavach Hackathon – 2023,” a non-stop 36-hour event held at the nodal center AMC Engineering College, Bengaluru, from August 08 to August 10, 2023. The competition was organized by MoE’s Innovation Cell, AICTE, in collaboration with the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C). The LNCT-University team presented an innovative “Chat Messenger Decryption Tool” as part of the student innovation initiative.

On the holy occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, LNCT Group has yet again proven to be victorious as three of our teams from LNCT campus (including LNCT-U) namely, “Nerd Herds”, “Coalesce” & “Opus Geeks” got the First Position & cash prize of ₹ 1,00,000 each under the mentorship of Dr. Alka Gulati, Dr. Vineet Richhariya & Dr. Vivek Richhariya respectively in “Grand Finale – 2022” of Smart India Hackathon (Software Edition) conducted at their nodal centers GIET University Gunupur (Odisha), MIT Aurangabad (Maharashtra) & IIT Kanpur (U.P.) respectively on 25th & 26th August 2022.
Smart India Hackathon – 2020
In this SIH -2020 (Software Edition), Three team namely, team “RUBIX-6” & team “AGRO-TECH” got the first position & cash prize of 1,00,000₹ under the mentorship Prof. Harendra Singh & Dr. Vivek Richhariya respectively & third team “ALPHA !” got the third position in AICTE-MIC Student Innovation & cash prize of 50,000₹ under the mentorship Prof. Megha in “Grand Finale – 2020” of Smart India Hackathon (Software Edition) conducted at their nodal center Graphics Era University, Dehradun, Samrat Ashok Institute of technology, Vidisha & Techno India University, Kolkata respectively through an online platform on 1st to 3rd August 2020.
In this SIH -2020 (Hardware Edition), Two team namely, “BINARY BOMBERS” & “MECHAHOLIC” from our LNCT Campus, got the first position as Joint Winner in AICTE-MIC Student Innovation & cash prize of 1,00,000₹ under the mentorship Dr. Pradeep Chouksey, CSE, LNCTE, Dr. Likha Kurup & Dr. Anjali Tiwari, Dept. of Chemistry, LNCT respectively in “Grand Finale – 2020” of Smart India Hackathon (Hardtware Edition) through an online platform on 21st to 23rd December 2020.
Smart India Hackathon – 2019
In this Smart India Hackathon 2019, 40000 ideas was submitted by more than 15000 teams from overall India for selecting in grand finale of SIH – 2019. For this, 600 ideas was given by 250+ teams from our LNCT campus. Total 328 teams are selected from overall India for Grand Finale SIH – 2019 that held on 2 & 3 March 2019 at different nodal center in India. Out of which 11 teams was from our LNCT campus.

In Software Editon, Three team namely Wellocity, Infinity Eight & Apeiron got the first position & cash prize of 50000₹ under the mentorship of Prof. Vijay Trivedi, Prof. Gaurav Nayak. and Prof. Aditya Patel in the Smart India Hackathon-2019 software edition Grand Finale held on March 02 and 03, 2019 at BHU Varanasi, Mohali & Trichy respectively.
In Hardware Edition, THE BREEZERS got the first position & cash prize of 75000₹ under the mentorship of Prof. Aprana Gupta in the Smart India Hackathon-2019 hardware edition Grand Finale held on July 08 – 12 , 2019 at IISER Pune.
Smart India Hackathon – 2018
Total 198 teams are selected from overall India for Grand Finale SIH – 2018 that held on March 30 and 31, 2018 at different nodal center in India. Out of which 5 teams was from our LNCT campus.
Team CodeToWin got ‘The recipient of Persistent System’s Inspiration Award’ and a cash prize of 10,000₹ and the team LNBACKBANCHER got the fourth position & a cash prize of 10000₹ at the Smart India Hackathon-2018 software edition Grand Finale held on March 30 and 31, 2018 at Kurnool and Indore respectively under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Richhariya & Prof. Vijay Trivedi.
Smart India Hackathon – 2017
Six team had sent their innovative ideas regarding ministry problem’s, out of which two team were selected for grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2017. These two-team (name as Team Band of Nerds & team Anveshak) participated in grand finale on 1st and 2nd April 2017 at Noida & Hubli (Karnataka) respectively.
Team Anveshak got the 8th position in Ministry of AYUSH at national level under the guidance of Dr. Vivek Richhariya.
